Downtube Bag

The Restrap Downtube Bag is a smart way to increase your bike’s carrying capacity by using the often-overlooked space beneath the downtube. Designed for smaller frames or those in need of additional storage, it offers 1.2L of fully waterproof space. The roll-top closure ensures your gear stays protected from rain, road spray, and trail debris.

Securing the bag is simple, thanks to a single Velcro strap that eliminates the need for frame bosses. An integrated grip pad helps keep the bag firmly in place, minimizing movement and rattling. Its bolt-free design allows you to swap the bag between bikes in seconds, adding versatility to your setup.

Perfect for storing spares, tools, or heavier items, the Downtube Bag helps maintain a low and central center of gravity, improving balance. This makes it especially useful for bikes with dropper seat posts or setups where traditional under-saddle storage isn’t an option.

Designed to fit all bikes, the bag accommodates downtubes with circumferences up to 19cm. While it’s intended for downtube use, the bag can be creatively mounted on cargo cages, seatposts, or other locations to suit your needs.

Hand made in our Yorkshire workshop, all bags are finished with the classic Restrap label, made from vegan-friendly PU.
