Restrap make their bags by hand in their own workshop in Yorkshire, England. The bags we stock use textured nylon with Hypalon details, and most carry an IP rating: IP6K6 for the Bar Pack, Saddle Bag dry bag, Pannier and Downtube Bag, and IP6K4 for the frame bags.
It is a rating for dust and water. The 6 means dust-tight, and K6 means the seal holds out powerful jets of water, which covers sideways rain and wheel spray. It is a riding rating, not a diving one, so keep the bag out of the river. The frame bags carry IP6K4.
The 14 L suits a summer overnighter; the 18 L takes a bulkier sleeping bag and warm layers. Check clearance first: Restrap ask for 240 mm between saddle rails and tyre for the 14 L and 260 mm for the 18 L, measured at your riding height.

The Restrap range we stock
• Saddle bags: the Saddle Bag + Dry Bag pairs a holster with an IP6K6 roll-top dry bag, 14 L at 535 g or 18 L at 645 g. The Dry Bag Tapered (8 or 14 L) is the spare.
• Handlebar bags: the Bar Pack has two IP6K6 roll-top compartments on a hard-shell back, 10 L at 585 g. The Canister Bag is 1.5 L for day rides, and the Food Pouch clips to the front of a Restrap bar bag.
• Frame bags: the Bikepacking Frame Bag in 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 L, and the 7.5 L Full Frame Bag Medium, both IP6K4.
• Small bags: Top Tube Bag (0.8 L), Race Top Tube Bag for ultra-distance and audax, Stem Bag and Race Stem Bag (1.1 L), and the 1.2 L Downtube Bag.
• Touring: the roll-top Pannier Bag in 13 or 22 L on a Klickfix hook system, sold singly.
• Straps: Fast Straps in Hypalon, in pairs of 25, 45 or 65 cm or a mixed set.
