Description
The Deuter Bike Bag 0.3 is the smallest bag you can hang under a saddle and still carry a flat fix. A spare tube, a key and a folded note go in, the zip closes, and you forget it is there until the day you need it.
Who it's for
Road and gravel riders who hate bulging jersey pockets. Deuter rate it five out of five for road and gravel, and it works on a mountain bike or a tourer too: the early bunch ride along the Gold Coast Highway, a gravel loop through the Scenic Rim, or a commute where you want the essentials on the bike, not on your back.
Fitting it to your bike
Hook-and-loop straps fix the bag under your saddle, so there are no brackets or tools involved and it moves between bikes in seconds. Sand and dust can dull paint or carbon where any bag rubs, so a strip of protective film where it touches is cheap insurance.
Capacity and what fits
0.3 litres in a 7 x 8 x 14 cm bag. That is a road or gravel tube, a pair of tyre levers or a CO2 head, a house key and a card. It is sized for the flat-fix essentials, not a full tool kit.
Weatherproofing
A zip closes the bag, and the underside uses a durable, washable fabric that shrugs off road spray and grit thrown up by your back wheel. The reflective 3M print adds a little visibility from behind on dawn and dusk rides.
Looking after it
The body is 100D recycled polyamide, finished without intentionally added PFAS.
