Its outer fabric is waterproof, so rain on the way to the pool does not reach your clothes, and it has a separate 10 L waterproof compartment for a wetsuit or wet towel. The main 30 L compartment opens all the way round on a U-shaped zip, so you can see everything at once.
Orca sizes the Explorer Backpack at 47 x 34 x 25 cm to go in the cabin on most airlines, and the Casual Backpack is made to go on board as a personal item and clips over a suitcase handle. Check your airline's limits before you fly.

• Everyday: the Casual Backpack (22 L, 15-inch laptop) and the Tote Bag (22 L centre compartment, padded laptop and tablet pockets) carry a workday and a pool session.
• Wet gear only: the Mesh Bag is a drawstring bag with drain eyelets and a waterproof back pocket; the Mesh Backpack (74 x 46 cm) carries a full kit with a mesh front so it can dry on the way home.
