Combi Water Filter

The Katadyn Combi gives you a two-for-one package (active carbon and ceramic). Simple change to 1-stage operation (only ceramic without activated carbon stage). The tried and tested ceramic depth filter removes bacteria, protozoa and other disease-causing agents. The micro-organisms cannot pass through the mini pores of the filter ceramic (0.2 microns) because of their size (greater than 0.2 microns = 0.0002 mm). This filter moves effortlessly from backcountry to motorhome, global travels to hikes, and emergency use to temporary home use. No matter where the replaceable activated carbon means chemical-free filtering. 

The Combi Filter features:

• Silver-impregnanted 0.2 micron ceramic filter - removes biological contaminants such as bacteria and protozoa
• Replaceable activated carbon filter - reduces chemicals, tastes and odours; the carbon indicator keeps track of your carbon use
• High output - up to 1L per minute
• Long lifetime - up to 50,000L depending on water quality (activated carbon filter should be changed after 400L)
• Easy cleaning - unlike disposable filters, the ceramic filter can be cleaned several times, even in the field
