Description
Salt crusting your wetsuit zip after a week at the beach, grit grinding in the tent door after a dusty trip, the dive bag zip that has seized solid since last season: Gear Aid Zipper Cleaner + Lubricant scrubs the zip clean and greases it in one pass. The brush is built into the cap, so the formula goes straight between the teeth where the grit lives.
What it fixes
- Stuck, sticky or grinding zips clogged with sand, dirt or salt
- Zips exposed to saltwater, chlorine and rust
- Coil, plastic, nylon and metal zippers
- Wetsuits, drysuits, dive bags, tents, sleeping bags, coolers, gear bags and luggage
As it cleans, it leaves a clear protective film that keeps the zip running smoothly, helps repel sand, and fights corrosion. The formula contains no silicone and no paraffin wax.
How to use it
- Run the brush top along the zip teeth to scrub out sand, dirt and salt and work the formula between them.
- Repeat regularly on gear that sees salt water, chlorine or sand, and the zips last longer.
The label carries an eye-irritant caution, so read the caution on the back before use.
