Thermic Ultra Warm Comfort Sock S.E.T

The Therm-ic Ultra Warm Comfort S.E.T. is a thin, high-cut heated ski sock in a 50% merino wool blend, with a thin heating line that diffuses subtle heat around the toes without altering the fit. It has three heat settings and gives up to 9 hours of warmth with Therm-ic's S-Pack 1400B batteries, which are sold separately.

Who it's for

Skiers who feel the cold in their toes, whether on the first run of the day at Perisher or Falls Creek or on a cold day in the backcountry off the Main Range. Therm-ic designed it for skiers facing extreme conditions.

Heat and batteries

• Heating: a thin S.E.T. heating line sits under the forefoot and spreads warmth around the toes first.
• Settings: three heat intensities.
• Runtime: up to 9 hours, depending on the battery and the setting.
• Batteries: not included. The sock takes Therm-ic's S-Pack 1400B, which offers Bluetooth control from your phone.

Fit and layering

Smart.Elastic. technology gives the sock its fit in the boot without compromising comfort or feel, and polyamide fibres support the foot and leg during exercise. It is a unisex, high-cut sock.

Fabric and construction

The knit is 50% merino wool, 48% polyamide and 2% elastane. The thermo-regulating knit and merino wool are there for insulation and breathability, and Moisture-Vent technology draws moisture from the skin at the arch and carries it outside through micro-channels to help keep your feet dry.

Care

• Remove the batteries after every use and before washing.
• Turn the socks inside out and wash by hand, or in a machine inside a washing net, at 30 °C maximum with a slow spin of no more than 400 rpm.
• No bleach and no fabric softener.
• Dry flat, never in a dryer or on a heater.
• Store flat, away from light, heat and moisture, and recharge the batteries at least every six months.
