The USWE Phone Pocket NDM 2 is a zipped nylon phone pouch that clicks onto the four mounting points of a USWE NDM 2 harness without tools, putting your phone on your chest. It weighs 0.1 kg and fits the Hajker (not Winter), Hajker Ultra, Hajker PRO, Tracker, Shred, Flow, Core and Watt packs.
Who it's for
Riders and runners who are sick of stopping, unclipping and swinging the pack off to check a map, grab a photo of the line they just cleared or answer a call. Mountain bikers, gravel riders, enduro and off-road motorcycle riders, trail runners and fastpackers all get the same thing: the phone sits right on your chest, a zip away.
Capacity and fit
A single zippered main compartment holds your phone, with room for the small things you want fast as well: a couple of gels, keys, a multi-tool or a card wallet. At 0.1 kg it adds next to nothing to the harness, and the slim shape keeps it out of the way of your arms.
Which packs it fits
The Phone Pocket clicks onto USWE's NDM 2 harness, on the Hajker (not the Winter model), Hajker Ultra, Hajker PRO, Tracker, Shred, Flow, Core and Watt. Line the four connectors up with the harness mounting points and press it on; pop the connectors off and it is gone in a couple of seconds. If your USWE pack has the older NDM 1 harness, the Phone Pocket NDM 1 is the one for you.
In the wet
The nylon shrugs off spray and mud. When the sky really opens up, put your phone in a waterproof bag before it goes in the pocket and keep riding.
