Description

Vipole Glacier is a series of classic trekking poles equipped with an internal clamping system for three aluminum sections. Despite the low cost, this model is suitable for trekking of any complexity, thanks to the high strength of 7075-T6-F56 aviation aluminum and the most reliable TwistLock locking system. The poles are quite short when folded and have a low weight and will not be a burden in the hiking position on a backpack, even during long transitions. The ergonomic extended handle is designed specifically for a comfortable grip when passing through terrain with frequent and sharp changes in altitude. EVA foam, from which the handle is made, absorbs moisture and has excellent thermal insulation properties. The ultra-strong tungsten carbide tip is characterized by high wear resistance. Trekking poles are equipped with a branded case for transportation.

TwistLock is an internal collet system for fixing sections of a telescopic pole. This system provides a more reliable fixation of sections relative to each other. Both in the transport and working positions, TwistLock has no external protruding parts that could catch on clothing or other objects during movement. Accordingly, such a fastening is almost impossible to damage while walking.

Alu 7075-T6-F56 (Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy) is a very strong and at the same time very light alloy, which is widely used in aircraft and automobile manufacturing. In terms of strength achieved per unit weight, Alu 7075-T6-F56 surpasses high-strength steel and titanium alloys. In addition, this alloy is characterized by good elasticity and corrosion resistance. It is the combination of these characteristics that allows us to recognize Alu 7075-T6-F56 as the best material for the production of trekking poles.

Thin Shaft technology allows to produce trekking poles with reduced section diameter (16-14-12 mm instead of the usual 18-16-14 mm) without compromising strength characteristics. This is achieved by using modern materials (Alu 7075 T6 F56 and 100% HM Carbon). Such trekking poles are better balanced, swing less when walking, have low wind resistance and at the same time provide weight savings of up to 15%.

Printing Technology - patented digital printing technology on the surface of aluminum and carbon poles allows you to apply a high-quality image with a resolution of 2880 DPI. The technology is based on the use of ink consisting of 100% natural dyes that do not contain toxic substances. The printing technique allows you to apply the main image under the top transparent layer of paint. Thus, the applied image is reliably protected from mechanical damage and fading under ultraviolet light. The image remains clear and bright for many years.

Quad Basket System - allows you to use poles for 4 seasons for trekking on any surface (from rocky soil to freshly fallen snow). The manufacturer offers a choice of 4 rings of different diameters: 32 mm for hard ground, 54 mm for medium-hard ground, 88 mm for soft ground, 120 mm for snow. The threaded connection allows you to quickly change the rings depending on the conditions of the hike.

Trekking poles are used as an additional support point during long and short hikes, both with equipment of varying weight and without it. They reduce the load on the joints and muscles of the legs, back and lower body, help maintain balance on ascents and descents and facilitate the passage of difficult sections of the path, generally increasing the comfort of walking. Trekking poles provide a higher speed of movement, and, as a result, allow you to cover a longer distance in a walking day. In addition to their direct purpose, poles can be used to set up ultra-light frameless tents or awnings, as well as perform other useful functions on a hike.
