Description
Description
Gaffer tape on a rifle stock leaves a gummy mess when it comes off. Gear Aid Camo Form does not. The fabric grips only to itself, so you stretch it around a barrel, a scope tube or a bino strap, press the last turn down and it holds. Peel it off after use and the gear underneath is clean.
What it is
A roll of stretchy, self-adhering camouflage fabric, 5 cm wide and 3.66 m long. It is cotton fabric with natural rubber latex. Cut it to any length you need and it moulds around curves, tapers and odd shapes that rigid wraps and skins cannot follow.
Who it's for
Hunters breaking up the outline of a rifle, scope or binoculars before a stalk or a morning in a blind. Anyone whose metal gear clanks: a layer of Camo Form deadens the knock of a barrel on a fence post and takes the bite out of a freezing scope tube or a sun-baked torch body, and it adds grip to a handle that gets slippery.
It is not a permanent coating. If you want camo that stays on for years, a hydro-dip or a vinyl skin is the job; Camo Form is for gear you want to wrap and unwrap.
Key details
- Size: 5 cm x 3.66 m roll
- Weight: 91 g per roll
- Material: cotton fabric with natural rubber latex
- Patterns we stock: Multicam and Realtree Edge
- Grip: sticks to itself only, leaves no residue
- Reuse: remove, wash, let dry and wrap again
The fabric contains natural rubber latex, so skip it if you have a latex allergy.
Looking after it
After each use, take Camo Form off anything that does not like moisture, wooden stocks especially, so damp fabric is not held against the timber. Wash the wrap when it is muddy, let it dry fully and it is ready to go back on.
