Description
The Exposure Handlebar Mount comes in two versions for Exposure lights. The Quick Release bracket lets a Sirius, Joystick, Axis, Diablo, Link or other listed Exposure light clip on and off the bars, and is made for road riding. The Zip Tie bracket is moulded plastic and comes with two zip ties.
What it fits
Quick Release takes the Exposure Boost, Switch, Spark, Link, Link+, Sirius, Joystick, Axis, Diablo, Zenith and Equinox.
Zip Tie takes the Exposure Boost, BoostR, Link, Link+, Sirius, Joystick, Axis, Diablo and Switch.
Both are a smart way to move a helmet light down to the bars, or to run a second light on a different bike without buying a whole kit. Commuters who switch between a road bike and a hybrid can keep a bracket on each and move the light across.
How it attaches
The Quick Release bracket stays on the bike and the light clips in and out, so it comes off in seconds when you lock up outside the office or the café. Exposure make it for road riding only, so it suits commutes, bunch rides and night laps on sealed roads.
The Zip Tie bracket is a simple injection-moulded plastic cradle that fixes on with the two zip ties supplied. Pull them tight and trim the tails and it stays put until you cut it free, which makes it handy for a spare bike that only needs a light now and then.
Looking after it
Keep a couple of spare zip ties in the shed for when you move the Zip Tie bracket, and check the light still clicks firmly into the Quick Release bracket before each night ride.
