The Deuter Race Air 10 is a riding pack built around airflow. The mesh back sits off your spine on a spring steel frame and splits down the middle, so it follows your back when you are tucked over the bars and lets the heat out on a long climb.

Who it's for

Capacity, and what actually fits

10 litres, with expandable volume when you need to stuff in a jacket. A 3 L hydration bladder sits in the elasticated inner sleeve, and the front pocket has a tool organiser with a zipped mesh pocket for your tube, levers and pump. A side pocket holds your phone and stretch side pockets take a gel or a spare bottle. It measures 45 x 25 x 16 cm.

How it carries

The Aircomfort back is designed for riding: a flexi spring steel frame holds the mesh away from your back, and the panel is split down the middle so less of the pack touches you. Perforated shoulder straps, mesh hip fins and a two-way sternum strap hold it snug on rough descents without trapping heat.
