Front Bag 1.2

The Deuter Front Bag 1.2 sits on your handlebars and keeps the things you reach for most right in front of you. Phone, keys, wallet, a gel or two: all a zip away, no stopping, no rummaging through a jersey pocket.

Who it's for

Commuters, tourers and bikepackers. Deuter rate it five out of five for all three, and it suits the ride where you stop often: a café crawl along the Brisbane River, a multi-day tour on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, or the daily ride to work where your phone needs to be handy at the lights.

Fitting it to your bike

Short hook-and-loop straps fix the bag to your handlebars, so it goes on and off without tools. It sits neatly on flat bars or between the hoods on drop bars. Grit can dull a finish where any bag rubs, so a strip of protective film where it touches is cheap insurance.

Capacity and what fits

At 5 x 18 x 16 cm, the Front Bag 1.2 takes a large phone, keys and a slim wallet in the main compartment, with a zipped front pocket for cards, cash or a lip balm. It is a grab-and-go bag, not a full bar roll.

Weatherproofing

Both compartments close with zips, and the bag is made from 100D recycled polyamide finished without intentionally added PFAS. A reflective 3M print adds visibility at night.
