How it carries

A round-profile frame of permanently elastic spring steel tensions the mesh so it arcs off your back, which is where the airflow comes from, and the same frame spreads the weight evenly. Breathable hip fins steady the base on uneven ground, and a 2-way adjustable sternum strap keeps the shoulder straps where you set them.
