The best way to keep your bladder in top-notch shape is to clean it with soap and water and let it dry completely after every use. The Shape-Shift and Elite bladders are especially easy to clean because theyre reversible! They are also dishwasher (top-shelf recommended) friendly. Cleaning hydration bladderThe Shape-Shift features a removable baffle which locks for a slim profile and increased stabilization. When unlocked it reverses for easy cleaning - place it on the top-shelf of your dishwasher or rinse with mild soap and water. Make sure to let the bladder dry out completely while reversed. 

Cleaning hose & mouthpieceAll of our components are removable for easy cleaning. Disconnect the drink tube from the bladder. Grasp the bite valve in one hand and tube in the other then pull the valve firmly to remove the bite valve from the tube. Gently remove the silicone sheath from the valve and clean with Bottle Bright or mild soap and water. Clean the inside of the tube by inserting the Hydrapak Tube Brush in the open end of the tube and scrub. After drying the components, carefully reattach the sheath to the valve and re-install. 

Bladder has a weird tasteSome users may initially notice a plastic-like taste when using any of our products made with TPU. This taste typically subsides over time and can be eliminated by simply squeezing juice from a lemon into the product, filling it with water, and then freezing it.

How does the Shape-Shift feature work?
The Shape-Shift hydration system incorporates a versatile baffle that can be zipped to slim the bladder's profile, reducing its capacity to 2.5 liters for a more compact fit. Unzipping the baffle expands the bladder to its full 3.0-liter capacity. This design allows users to adjust the volume based on their hydration needs and pack space.

What is the Plug-N-Play coupling?
The Plug-N-Play coupling is a quick-connect system that enables easy attachment and detachment of the drink tube from the bladder. This feature allows for convenient refilling and cleaning without the need to remove the tube from your pack. An auto shut-off valve prevents leaking when the tube is disconnected.

Is the bladder easy to clean?
Yes, the bladder is designed for easy cleaning. It is fully reversible, allowing you to turn it inside out for thorough cleaning and drying. Additionally, the wide slide-top opening facilitates easy access for cleaning and can accommodate ice cubes. The bladder is also top-shelf dishwasher safe (maximum temperature of 60°C / 140°F). Ozback tip: Store them in the freezer between use and you wont get any nasties growing inside like mould and bacteria. You can even half fill them with water allowing it to freeze ensuring an icy cold drink on your next adventure!

What materials are used in the construction of the bladder?
The bladder is made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which is known for its durability, flexibility, and resistance to abrasion. It is 100% BPA and PVC-free, meeting FDA and EU regulations, ensuring safe and reliable hydration.

Is the bladder compatible with all hydration packs?
The bladder is designed to be compatible with most hydration packs. However, it's advisable to check the dimensions of your pack to ensure a proper fit. The bladder measures approximately 44 cm in length and 17 cm in width.

Can the bladder handle different temperature liquids?
Yes, the bladder can be filled with hot water up to 60°C (140°F) and is also safe to freeze. However, when freezing, it's recommended not to fill the bladder completely to allow for ice expansion and to avoid potential damage.

Does the bladder have an anti-fungal property?
While the bladder is naturally anti-fungal, it's essential to clean and dry it thoroughly after each use to prevent mould and bacteria growth. Proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and hygiene of the bladder.
