Vitassium Extra Strength Electrolyte Capsules provide 750 mg of sodium and 100 mg of potassium per two-capsule serving, which is 50% more sodium than the standard Vitassium capsule. They are made for people managing conditions such as POTS and orthostatic hypotension who need to reach a high daily sodium target.
What it is and who it is for
The same formula as standard Vitassium with 50% more sodium per serving. It exists for a practical reason: people managing POTS, orthostatic hypotension and other forms of dysautonomia are often working to a daily sodium target, and reaching it with the standard capsule means swallowing a great many of them.
This is not a stronger product in the sense of working better. It is the same thing, more concentrated, so fewer capsules reach the same total.
How much sodium it provides
Each serving of two capsules contains 750 mg of sodium and 100 mg of potassium, against 500 mg and 100 mg in the standard version. Note the potassium is the same — only the sodium increases.
If you are already taking standard Vitassium, the count changes when you switch. Two of these are not the same as two of those.
