Thirty-two litres. The heavy-duty tool pouches behind the front panel organise the kit you use all day, the external sleeves hold a shovel shaft and probe where you can grab them. Goggles get their own pocket, and the main compartment takes layers, food and a hydration system.

A lightweight ergonomic waist belt carries two large smartphone-sized pockets and two heavy-duty gear loops, and load lifters on the shoulder straps pull the top of the pack in close. Skis go on in an A-frame or diagonally, and there are carry options for a snowboard, snowshoes, a rope and two ice axes. The Rescuer 32 Pro is compatible with the Arva helmet holder.
