Description
The USWE Outlander Moto 9L is the dirt bike pack for the whole day: nine litres of total volume for a three-litre bladder, a spare layer, tools, food and a first aid kit, and a harness that keeps all of it tight to your back. It weighs 500 g before you load it.
Who it's for
Adventure and dual sport riders, trail riders doing long loops, and enduro riders who carry their own spares. A day exploring the fire trails of the Victorian high country, a long run out through the Pilliga, or a ride where the weather can turn and you want a jacket with you: this is the size that covers it.
Capacity and fit
The pack has 9 litres of total volume, including the 3.0 litre Elite bladder, and measures 45 x 19 x 14 cm. The spacious main compartment takes extra layers, gloves, snacks and tools, and multiple compartments with mesh pockets and tool sections keep the essentials organised and quick to reach.
The No Dancing Monkey 4-point harness holds the load against your torso with elastic straps that let your chest expand as you breathe. It sits high on your back, clear of the seat, and goes on over body armour or a chest protector. It is unisex and fits chests from 84 to 110 cm. The pack is compatible with USWE's NDM accessories, including the Action Camera Harness, Chest Pocket and Phone Pocket.
Drinking and refilling
The Elite bladder is made by HydraPak and connects to the drink tube with a fixed coupling. Three litres is a proper supply for a long day in the dust.
Cleaning and mould
The Elite bladder turns inside out like a sock. Reverse it, put it through the dishwasher or wash it with mild soapy water, and let it dry completely while reversed.
Looking after it
Empty the pack after each ride and brush the dirt off with soapy water. Hand wash only: a washing machine or dryer damages the PU coating. Keep the zips clean, and store the pack closed in a dry spot.
