MIX: The grip and glide with a Hybrid mix is a combination of Mohair and Nylon. The consistency is ussually 65% Mohair and 35% Nylon. The combination means a perfect balance between durability, glide and grip.

GLUED: The regular way of sticking a skin to a base is by a layer of glue. Glue provides excellent stickyness to the base as long as the skin is well maintained (stored and cleaned properly). Eventually glued skins will loose their grip and need to be equipped with a new layer.

SKIN SAVER: This skin comes with a skin saver to protect and store your skins.

TRIMMER: This skin comes with a special trim tool to cut your skins.

FITTING: It is a wrong assumption that climbing skins should always cover the entire base. The vast majority of grip is created under the foot. The ends at the tip and tail provide extra resistance. A climbing skin that fits well stops short of the tip and tail and therefore leaves some base uncovered here. This base provides extra glide during touring and results in more efficient energy consumption.

TRIM TO FIT: This skin only needs to be fitted to the waist. The tail connector is pre-mounted and solely needs be tightened to the right tension.

Width Sizing Note: Buy a skin that is wider than the tip measurement of your ski. For example, if your tip measures 135mm, then buy the 140mm skin width.
